Hotels
THE ACQUA HOTEL
We had arranged a special rate at the Acqua Hotel, but as of late September, the hotel is full. If you would like to be added to a waitlist for rooms, call the hotel directly at 415.380.0400 and mention the Axelrod-Karnani wedding.
OTHER OPTIONS
There are a number of other hotels in the area. On the affordable side, within walking distance to the Acqua is the Travelodge.
About a 1 mile drive from the Acqua (but a much longer walk due to road design) is the Holiday Inn Express - Mill Valley, which features both a pool and a hottub.
In Sausalito, we recommend the Hotel Sausalito, less than 1 block away from our reception site, the Spinnaker. They have a wide variety of room types and price points, and may sell out quickly.
Tiburon (about 10 minute drive from Mill Valley) is a lovely place to stay. Options there include the Lodge at Tiburon and the Waters Edge Hotel.
Travel
To join us in Marin County, we recommend flying into San Francisco (SFO) and renting a car. On your way, we suggest stopping by the casual and delicious (inaptly-named) Dumpling Empire in South San Francisco.
Alternatively, you can fly into Oakland (OAK) across the Bay, or San Jose (SJC) farther south.
